I just recently made a purchase that I love. Yes I love a material thing!
This is not a common occurrence, no not me making a purchase, but me loving something material.
Loving material things is a very good thing to do. I say that cause this could turn into more of a idol. I will be sure that wont happen.
You may be wondering what it is, well given the amount of snowfall can you guess? Yes a snow thrower. More to the point a Troybilt Snow thrower.
So you can see why I love this thing. Well OK maybe love is a bad choice of words. Anyway I am so happy now that I was able to purchase this.
God is so good to us. Giving us the resources to make purchased like this. God Bless you!

200th Post
This is my 200th Post I thought I would share a poem I wrote for my love.
From the heart
I love thee
From the mind I need thee
Oh my love I so want you
To see me and for you to have me
For your heart to love
Look for me deep in your mind
And search your heart to find me
Baby I love the thought of us together
Holding and loving
Walking in the rain and singing together
Falling in love all over and over again
As we gaze into each other’s eyes.
My heart aches when we are apart
I long for the moment in time where our
Touch will stop everything and in that moment
You are the only one I am thinking about
Baby you are my heart and my love
I love you

The Glistening
The glistening water of a waterfall
oh such power yet such beauty
One can see the awesomeness
Is this just random thing to see
Or is this of divine nature
How wonderful when you see a rainbow
in the falls
It reminds of a promise
A promise so long ago
Never will the earth be flooded again
How many remember
How many forget
Day in and day out
There is no thanks given
Today I give thanks
To the Lord above
Thanks for the waterfall
Thanks for the chance in this world
Remember that God is a God of Love
But we must do our part.
God Bless you today!

Izak
As we found out that you were there
Our hearts leaped and we began to anticipate
The life that we will have with you around
We watched you grow and mature within your mommy
We anticipated when you would be able to see us
We prayed for you and we took care and made sure we were ready
Your daddy and mommy got your room all ready
We bought you clothes and toys
The day got closer and mommy and daddy began to beam with joy
Mommy and Daddy went to see the Doctor
And we could see you on a picture
It wasn’t too clear, but I am sure you were smiling in anticipation of the day
When we get to see you and hold you
The day finally came and Izak you were born
Your daddy and mommy were very proud
And as we watch you grow now and think to ourselves
We can help but thank our Lord Jesus for the perfect
We can help but thank our Lord Jesus for the perfect
Bundle of joy you are, Daddy and mommy
Are very pleased to have you around us
We can’t imagine what life would be with out you
Now we look into the future and start to plan for your future
We know that the future holds many exciting things, like College
Girls and Marriage, but for now Izak we are just going to enjoy the
Little life that God has given us charge over, to raise and train you
In the way God has intended us to
Thank you Izak for being part of our lives and
We hope that you will be as blessed as we have been
We Love You Izak!!!

No Unwanted Anomalies
So what do you call worship. In my mind worship is anything you can do for our Lord and Savior Jesus. What I mean is when you are serving in the house of God on a Sunday. Yes everything you do to serve in His house I considers worship. So for those who view mixing sound is not worshiping I think you have it wrong, I think serving Jesus in all that you do in the His house you should consider that as your worship for the day, yes you can sing while mixing, just an added bonus. When the service has ended and you feel you have done an adequate job (meaning no complaints, no feedback, no unwanted anomalies) then you have successful worshiped in serving. Now even if there were anomalies you still were worshiping our Savior. I believe worship to be a heart attitude, if you go in to the Sunday and view that as a job and not for serving then you might need to check to see why you are donning this. There should be prep time when you are on for that particular event, what I mean is you should pray and seek God to give you wisdom and guidance for the day (not unlike the band on stage that you are mixing for).

Extraordinary Happiness
You and I are connected
in a way that goes beyond romance,
beyond friendship,
beyond what we've ever had before.
It has defied time, distance,
and changes in ourselves
and in our lives.
It has defied every explanation.
Except one:
Pure and simply, we're soul mates.
I can't explain, I just feel it.
It's there in the way my spirits lift
whenever we talk.
The sound of your voice brings me home,
in a way I can't explain.
It's in the delight I feel, when we laugh
at exactly the same things.
When I'm with you,
it's like a tiny piece of the universe
shifts into place.
A place it's supposed to be,
and all is right with the world.
These things and so many more,
that this is a once in a lifetime,
forever connection.
A connection that could only exist
between you and me.
And deep in my soul,
I know that our relationship
is a rare gift.
One that brings us
extraordinary happiness
all through our lives.

A Real Friend
A simple friend has never seen you cry.
A real friend has shoulders soggy from your tears.
A simple friend doesn't know your parents' first names.
A real friend has their phone numbers in his address book.
A simple friend brings a bottle of wine to your party.
A real friend comes early to help you cook and stays late to help you clean.
A simple friend hates it when you call after he has gone to bed.
A real friend asks you why you took so long to call.
A simple friend seeks to talk with you about your problems.
A real friend seeks to help you with your problems.
A simple friend wonders about your romantic history.
A real friend could blackmail you with it.
A simple friend, when visiting, acts like a guest.
A real friend opens your refrigerator and helps himself.
A simple friend thinks the friendship is over when you have an argument.
A real friend knows that it's not a friendship until after you've had a fight.
A simple friend expects you to always be there for them.
A real friend expects to always be there for you!

LIVE FOR HIM TODAY!
This is the secret of joy. We shall no longer strive for our own way; but commit ourselves, easily and simply, to God’s way, acquiesce in his will and in so doing find our peace. Evelyn Underhill
Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever. Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.

THIS DAY IN HISTORY!
Well today is a Grand Day. It's Monday Morning, the weekend was busy but it was great!
So today begins another week, is it any ordinary week? I would say NOT. Today is a special day and this week is a special week. Starting off today we look back on how our lives have changed. If we go back 23 years we can see a change in the leadership in our church, Pastor Dave Wells came on board, and yesterday Pastor Joel Wells takes the lead, wow an amazing 23 years and looking forward to what the furture holds.
If we look back further what else happened today in years gone by?
- The Soviet probe Venera 4 reaches Venus and becomes the first spacecraft to measure the atmosphere of another planet.
- A total lunar eclipse
These happened today in 1967.
- Pierre Trudeau (former Prime Minister of Canada)
- Pam Dawber (Actress on Mork and Mindy)
- Chuck Swindoll (Preacher)
- Jean-Claude Van Damme (Actor)
- George C. Scott (Actor)
- Lorie LaVallee
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY WONDERFUL WIFE.
I LOVE YOU SO VERY MUCH!

Stand firm. Let nothing move you
Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:58 The New International Version
There are many things in this world that come your way to sway you. For example you are driving and you get angry at the person in front of you (why?).
There is a big event happening at your church that the enemy doesn't want to happen. He will try anything to get in the way.
If we do what is said in I Corinthians and stand firm in our walk with the Lord your labour will not be in vain.
God Bless you

"I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser..."
Do you ever think that the world is passing you by? Do you ever wonder if just stopping and watching God's creation? Do you ever just let the wind caress your face as it goes by?
If you find that your are just too busy and don't have the time to express your gratitude towards the One who created you and everything around you, then perhaps its time to just sit back and enjoy what He has given us.
In John Jesus talks about He being the vine and how if we abide in Him.
1"I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.
2"Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit.
3"You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
4"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me.
5"I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
6"If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.
7"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8"My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.
9"Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love.
10"If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.
11"These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.
If we abide in Jesus then we might find ourselves appreciating what we have and the world around us more.
So the next time you are so busy or too busy remember that Jesus is your help. Keep looking at the beauty of the world that surrounds us.
God Bless you This day!

"Our individuality is to be rendered radiant..."
You have a call, you have a vision that you believe God has given you. You find your self in the midst of making a decision. Should I go or should I stay? You want to do what you feel is right for your life and for you relationship with God. If you think of what Moses had gone through when he came upon the burning bush. A lowly (in his mind) Shepard being the leader of millions of people.
We may have the vision of God and a very clear understanding of what God wants, and yet when we start to do it, there comes to us something equivalent to Moses’ forty years in the wilderness. It’s as if God had ignored the entire thing, and when we are thoroughly discouraged, God comes back and revives His call to us. And then we begin to tremble and say, “Who am I that I should go . . . ?” We must learn that God’s great stride is summed up in these words— “I AM WHO I AM . . . has sent me to you” (Exodus 3:14). We must also learn that our individual effort for God shows nothing but disrespect for Him— our individuality is to be rendered radiant through a personal relationship with God, so that He may be “well pleased” (Matthew 3:17). We are focused on the right individual perspective of things; we have the vision and can say, “I know this is what God wants me to do.” But we have not yet learned to get into God’s stride. If you are going through a time of discouragement, there is a time of great personal growth ahead.

The Lord’s Prayer
The Lord’s Prayer is the prayer above all prayers. It is a prayer which the most high Master taught us, wherein are comprehended all spiritual and temporal blessings, and the strongest comforts in all trials, temptations and troubles, even in the hour of death.
Martin Luther
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. Matthew 6:9-13

Birthdays
Birthdays can be so much fun
It is another year to look forward to
What Jesus can do for you?
And another year to look up and ask
“Jesus, What can I do for you?”
You are one year older, but as all can see
You are one year better
You may feel older and you may feel younger
But all in all you have to admit
You look pretty good
Birthdays are just another day
Live long and prosper
Live hard and Love it
Live righteous and Love Jesus
Live like today is the last day of the Rest of your life.

God wants us to approach life, full of expectancy...
God wants us to approach life, full of expectancy that God is going to be at work in every situation as we release our faith in Him. Colin Urquhart
Do you let God control you life or do you tell God what you want Him to control in your life, or perhaps you just want total control and on the occation ask for God's help.
For us to live a God fill life and Christ centred life we need to consider giving total Control to God.
Then we can live by the scriptur that reads in Philipians 4:13:
I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
So when you aer about to do something pray and ask for God's help. He is so waiting to hear from you..

The Small Stuff
Little things come daily, hourly, within our reach, and they are not less calculated to set forward our growth in holiness than are the greater occasions which occur but rarely. Moreover, fidelity in trifles, and an earnest seeking to please God in little matters, is a test of real devotion and love. Let our aim be to please our dear Lord perfectly in little things, and to attain a spirit of childlike simplicity and dependence.
Jean-Nicolas Grou
Wow how deep is this. If you think that God in Hi infinite wisdom takes care of the sparrows why do we center ourselves on the large events in life. Consider this when you have just a small thing comes up, that you might think at that very moment, is so insignificant that it doesn't matter, but in God's eyes it does.
You ask what little things, well how about holding the door for someone or when you have someone say "Thank you" say "Your Welcome" rather than saying "No Problem". The little things in life do matter. Smile at someone. Or walking in a mall or down the street, look at people and smile and say good morning! Keep your countenance one of Joy and you will find the little things often come. They give opportunity to perhaps even share your love of Jesus.
God Bless You This Day

MOMENT INTIME
I write this blog wondering if there are any individuals that read it (other than my gorgeous love - Lorie)
Do you ever just sit and think about all the goings on of life?
Do you ever just sit and gaze at the stars at night?
Do you ever just like to hear the rain fall or even walk in a rain?
How about listening to the wind blow through the trees? (I like wind blowing through poplar trees best)
Is there is a time just a moment in time that seems to slow for you.
Just think about it. When I was a young lad I remember going down the stairs fast, yes too fast, then I remember falling, but not really falling I never got hurt, I just seemed to float down the stairs. Was it that moment in time? or was it an angel guiding me? I will never know, but what I do know is that I did have that moment when I saw my Lorie walking down the isle at our wedding day...what a beauty. I will never forget that.
Well think about it.. more to come...
Have a Blessed day!

"Oh, That Will Have To Do For Now!"
How relevant to what Mark Hughes preached on Sunday at http://www.harvestcity.sk.ca/messages/index.htm
If we allow some area of our life to spin out of control, God will continue to bring it up until we deal with it. Many of us appear to be all right in general, but there are still some areas in which we are careless and lazy; it is not a matter of sin, but the remnants of our carnal life that tend to make us careless. Carelessness is an insult to the Holy Spirit. We should have no carelessness about us either in the way we worship God, or even in the way we eat and drink. Not only must our relationship to God be right, but the outward expression of that relationship must also be right. Ultimately, God will allow nothing to escape; every detail of our lives is under His scrutiny. God will bring us back in countless ways to the same point over and over again. And He never tires of bringing us back to that one point until we learn the lesson, because His purpose is to produce the finished product. Beware of becoming careless over the small details of life and saying, “Oh, that will have to do for now.” Whatever it may be, God will point it out with persistence until we become entirely His.
Oswald Chambers
