Barren of Love

Thought I would put a poem up for my Gorgeous wife Lorie:

If my heart was to be barren of love
I would find that you would be my oasis

If my heart was to be broken and not repaired

I would find that you would be there to repair it

If I find that my heart was oh so cold

I would feel the warmth of your embrace to warm it

You’re my dream come true

You’re my bright shining star

You’re my sweet embrace

Of what we call Life

but in the end no one really is happy

with what they have or want,

because it is not enough

You know there is a total and outstanding

Relief from the things of this world

Something that will give you

Joy and satisfaction for all eternity

We can just keep on going or we can look

To the one true Joy

Jesus

He is the most and best desire in life

He is not demanding

He lets us choose

If we choose wrong he forgives us

If we choose right he rejoices with us

If we fall and can’t get up on our own

He is there to give a helping hand

You know the joy in life we all seek

Is in this one person

And you will forever be grateful

That you accepted him as your

Lord and Savior

CHANGES

In our lives we see many changes
Changes that we have no control over
We may see them coming and be prepared
However, they come and go and we stopped and think
Wow that wasn’t so bad.
Other times we see that the change made
A drastic difference in our lives
May help us in a decision for the good or bad
One thing is for certain
We have to live with it

When we look back at our life of the previous year
We see many many changes
We wonder to ourselves
“What difference did the changes make in our lives”
Did we affect the change to better ourselves?
Or did we affect the change to better someone else

We may look back and see that we had many an opportunity
Consider the paths of people we crossed
Did we tell them of Jesus?
Or did we pass them by
And wonder why we didn’t say anything
And we wonder if they knew or know Christ
We may never know in this life but in the next we sure will find out

As you look into the events of this past year
You may wonder if I wasn’t here what would have been
Did I make a difference or was I just someone in the background where I don’t matter
In the Kingdom of heaven YOU DO matter
All the Angels Rejoiced when you made the decision to follow Christ
So as you see someone made a difference in your life when they told you about Christ

So go out and do the same… tell people, everyone you meet on the street, bus, and plane, and everywhere you go strike up a convo and tell them about your life with Christ

You see there is one thing for sure that we all can count on
And that is that God our Father, His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit
Are and have been and EVER will be the same
So when you ponder your life you will see that Christ is the same
Yesterday, today and tomorrow

He is the Alpha and the Omega

The Beginning and the Ending

He is your consistency

He is your guide to follow through your life with Him as your guide
Then you won’t have to wonder what your life will be like
Just look to Jesus

CONSTANT

In this world there is one constant
We often wonder what that is
We move around in our time and space
And we look to see what that may be

We are always wondering and seeking
The ultimate ride in life but the constant never changes
We wonder and wonder looking to find
What as where that may be

We look to ourselves and we look to others
We look to the wrong things and
We end up bowing down to the bad things in life

If we turn to the constant in this world
The constant that never changes and is forever
The same today tomorrow and forever
We would never be wanting or lacking anything
That is necessary to survive in this
Ever changing thing we call LIFE

We can see that if one would turn to the constant
And give in to the expectation of getting everything
For oneself and live life the way the constant wants us to live
We would then be able to look to the constant and say

Thank you Jesus for being that constant!!!

FATHER HERE IS MY LIFE

In the awesomeness of what we call life
We look to ourselves for all we want and desire
We gloat about all we have accomplished and
We think that because we are the dominant species
On this earth we think we are in control.

When things go wrong and life just goes in a way we did not plan
We then look to someone to blame for this
We do not blame ourselves;
Remember we are the masters of our fate
We do not take the blame; we look up and say
“WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS??”

We can look to ourselves to determine what we want
Or we can look to the Father of all creation to lead us through
We can blame Him for all that has gone wrong or we can say
Father you have given me free will and I chose wrong.

Will we then be able to ask for forgiveness for my inexcusable desire to control my life and start looking toward the Father for all our wants and desires? I would say that we cannot unless we give it all to the Father by saying “Father here is my life, I give it to you and let you have control over me. I am yours Lord.”

SUBROGATION

SUBROGATION: to substitute (one person) for another with reference to a claim or right.

Have you ever had a chance to put yourself into the place of another? I just started to watch a tv show Called "Human Target". It is a show about a guy who is hired for security and always puts himself in the path of danger for his clients. You know there is another person in history that has done that for us. He came to this world to be a subrogate for all of mankind. He went through life as a carpenter and when He was 30 years old His life changed. He was accused of doing wrong, He then was tried and convicted and sentenced to death for crimes here did not commit.

He name is Jesus.

He became our subrogate. He died for our sins, past and present.
Thank you Jesus for all you have done for us…

I am a Promise

You may remember a Sunday school song called "I Am A Promise"

I am a promise
I am a possibility
I am a promise with a capital "P"
I am a great big bundle of potentiality
And I am learnin' to hear God's voice
And I am tryin' to make the right choice
I am a promise to be anything God wants me to be.

I can go anywhere that He wants me to go
I can be anything He wants me to be
I can climb the high mountains
I can cross the wide sea
I'm a great big promise you see!

I am a promise
I am a possibility

If you sit and reflect on that song and really think about it WOW it is a strong song.
In your prayer times you try to hear God's voice, but if you actually listen for Him you will hear Him speak to you. We should live our lives daily for Him. Listening for that still small voice, you know the voice I am talking about? The one that prompts you to not do something or to do something, Example? Well for me this past December I was going to a meeting and I parked my vehicle in the parkade and went to pay for my parking ticket. There was a young lady scrambling to find change to pay for her parking. She seemed quite frantic... I started a conversation and soon realized she was struggling to find the right amount of change, her options were to move her car and find other parking. I heard a voice within saying to me pay for it. So I did, I put in the change that was required and she got her parking. She was shocked and I just said to her have a great day.
I share this to say that I blessed her that day. I did it because I felt God tell me to. What did I gain? Well nothing saving the knowing that I listened.

There are many times in ones day that this happens and if we are in tune with what God wants for us we will here.

So the thing here is WE are a Promise and yes with a Capital "P". God has something for us daily we just need to listen.

A day in the life...

This sound boring dosent it. I just recently rewatched the Matrix movie and wow it is almost like that, we need to get out of a rut.

We need to get some excitment in our daily lives, break the mundain cycle of living and live.

We need to turn to the one true person who can change our live dramatically, We need to look at ourselves and say wow I am empty. You need to give your life to Jesus. By doing so you will be a different person, you will see a big change, no more mundain, no more just living, you will have a purpose and someone to live for.
Pray this prayer if you want to have Jesus come into you life:

"Jesus, I am a sinner, I ask you to forgive my sins and to wash me clean from the inside out, I need you Jesus to take control of my life and to be the reason for my being. Come into my heart Jesus, I give you my life I give you control over everything, Jesus I make you Lord of my life!" Amen,

YOU MAY THINK YOUR RIGHT

G'Day to you all.
In this day and age when Marriage is attacked at every angle you may think I am next. If you want to keep your marriage intact you need to work at it. Guys I am talking to you! You need to work at by respecting, loving, honoring your wife. Be sure to tell her daily that you Love her and that she is beautiful. Wives, when your husband complements you that is a way for you to know how much he love you. Wives you need to accept the compliment with thanks.
As a married couple you need to Discover your own language of love. A glance with a grin, a touch, or even just brushing by will give that feeling of Love if you have developed your relationship.
I am so blessed to have a caring loving wonderful wife, Lorie is my best friend, lover, confidant and most of all the one who understands me.
But most of all a marriage that is based on a relationship with Jesus Christ is a strong marriage indeed. You as a couple need to Pray together daily.

I would recommend a book to those married couples. One by Bill and Pam Farrel, "The Marriage Code".

I Wonder

I wonder what would happen if we all just looked at each other and smiled?
A smile can do wonders for the soul.
The next time you look at a person, smile at them, see what they do.

Well this is my first Blog and I am very impressed with the ease of it. I hope you find this interesting and I will try to keep it updated daily.

I do want to comment on Haiti.
I am so very impressed on how many people and companies are stepping up to provide relief. O just found out that Tim Hortons is donating money and we all can do our part by putting money into the boxes set up at every Tim Horton. God Bless you for doing that.

I would like any one who is reading this to know that My Jesus is so Awesome...He can be your Jesus too. Just pray "Jesus I know I am a sinner and I want to change, would you please come into my heart, I accept you Jesus as my personal Saviour, I reject the old ways and Now I become a new person living for you Jesus. In Jesus Name, Amen If you prayed that prayer and meant every word Welcome to God's Kingdom!
