All things are possible

Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying, Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? Jeremiah 32:26-27
The King James Version

Truly all things are possible with God. Give all your cares to Him and you will have the guidance you require to sustain you. Keep looking towards the higher call of God in your life. Find the path that is set before you and pray to keep the journey going and pray to keep going. God is in control. There is nothing to hard for Him.

MONDAY

Do you know what today is? MONDAY.
Another day to start a new
another week to start fresh
Look forward to the week
Look for guidance
Look for love

Jesus is that Love and guidance.

Live in such a way that those who know you but don't know God will come to know God because they know you.

We thank Thee, Lord!

For all Thy ministries,-
For morning mist, and gently-falling dew;
For summer rains, for winter ice and snow;
For whispering wind and purifying storm;
For the reft clouds that show the tender blue;
For the forked flash and long tumultuous roll;
For mighty rains that wash the dim earth clean;
For the sweet promise of the seven-fold bow;
For the soft sunshine, and the still calm night;
For dimpled laughter of soft summer seas;
For latticed splendour of the sea-borne moon;
For gleaming sands, and granite-frontled cliffs;
For flying spume, and waves that whip the skies;
For rushing gale, and for the great glad calm;
For Might so mighty, and for Love so true;
With equal mind,
We thank Thee, Lord!

John Oxenham

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”

Tenacious for what you Believe

How tenacious are you in what you stand for? If you were in a situation where you had to make a choice could you be pertinacious and still survive? Would you be able to stand fast and not waiver in your choice?

In our lives we have the opportunity to stand fast for what we believe just as Stephen did. When he was accused of blasphemy he held steadfast in his love of Jesus he did not waiver in fact he prayed this

Acts 7:59-60 While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit." Then he fell on his knees and cried out, "Lord, do not hold this sin against them." When he had said this, he fell asleep

Just think about this. Will we be like Stephen and not waiver?

Have a great day!

Every word of God is flawless!

I found this to be quite inspiring.

Next to grace time is the most precious gift of God. Yet how much of both we waste. We say that time does many things. It teaches us many lessons, weans us from many follies, strengthens us in good resolves, and heals many wounds. And yet it does none of these things. Time does nothing. But time is the condition of all these things which God does in time. Time is full of eternity. As we use it so shall we be. Every day has its opportunities, every hour its offer of grace.  Henry E. Manning

Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.”

Pray Without Ceasing

What’s important is that God is so much part and parcel of life that spontaneous mental chat becomes second nature.  Cliff Richard

I bless the LORD who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me. I keep the LORD always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Psalm 16:7-8
(The Revised Standard Version )

How many time throughout the day do we find ourselves thinking about the Lord? How many times do you find yourself asking for forgiveness for something we said or did in that day?

We may find ourselves asking for
forgiveness a lot.

If we were to try what is suggested in 1 Thessalonians 5:15-19:
15. See that no one repays another with evil for evil,
but always seek after that which is good for one another and for all people.
16. Rejoice always;
17. pray without ceasing;
18. in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
19. Do not quench the Spirit;
(New American Standard Version)
We are surly bound to have a great day.
So go ahead and give it try.

When you feel like getting mad or angry over something

Seasons

So this is Thursday and it is snowing. More winter. I love winter. I think it is one of the finest seasons. We get to celebrate the birth of our Lord.

When it is snowing it seems to make everything look new and fresh.Although then the shoveling starts, but this year it is a little easier my snowblower works great. Thank you Jesus.

Well everyone I wish you a great day.

God Bless you.

CHANGES

In our lives we see many changes
Changes that we have no control over
We may see them coming and be prepared
However, they come and go and we stopped and think
Wow that wasn’t so bad.
Other times we see that the change made
A drastic difference in our lives
May help us in a decision for the good or bad
One thing is for certain
We have to live with it

When we look back at our life of the previous year
We see many many changes
We wonder to ourselves
“What difference did the changes make in our lives”
Did we affect the change to better ourselves?
Or did we affect the change to better someone else

We may look back and see that we had many an opportunity
Consider the paths of people we crossed
Did we tell them of Jesus?
Or did we pass them by
And wonder why we didn’t say anything
And we wonder if they knew or know Christ
We may never know in this life but in the next we sure will find out

As you look into the events of this past year
You may wonder if I wasn’t here what would have been
Did I make a difference or was I just someone in the background where I don’t matter
In the Kingdom of heaven YOU DO matter
All the Angels Rejoiced when you made the decision to follow Christ
So as you see someone made a difference in your life when they told you about Christ
So go out and do the same… tell people, everyone you meet on the street, bus, and plane, and everywhere you go strike up a convo and tell them about your life with Christ

You see there is one thing for sure that we all can count on
And that is that God our Father, His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit
Are and have been and EVER will be the same
So when you ponder your life you will see that Christ is the same
Yesterday, today and tomorrow
He is the Alpha and the Omega
The Beginning and the Ending

He is your consistency
He is your guide to follow through your life with Him as your guide
Then you won’t have to wonder what your life will be like
Just look to Jesus

A CLOUD IN YOUR SKY

Sometimes  you may find
A cloud in your sky
That cloud could contain a variety of things
Rain, snow, hail or just be a simple cloud

So when people look at you what do they see
Do the see the true you or do they see something
different.
So when you go about your day try being you and
not something your not.
When you feel like rain, snow or hail let them see.
It is OK to let your feelings be known, it just matters
on how you display them.

Then when you feel the anger or the frustration of the day
Remember that Jesus want to be your guide.

Ask Him for help!

God Bless

GIVE GLORY TO THE CREATOR

God is So Good.

When we make our way through the day it would be interesting if we could all just have a look at the beauty of God's creation. Not only the area around you but the whole of the universe. We keep on seeing pictures that NASA takes of the universe. That is God's creation as well. Can you imagine the infinite wisdom of the Creator to create such a vast awe inspiring place if not to keep up the curiosity of the human race. Wow God is so Amazing in all He has conceived.

So let all try this. When you proceed through your week try to find something that you haven't thought of before and give the glory to the Creator and thank Him for what he has made.

HAVE A BODACIOUS WEEK

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name

When the snow falls for the
first time in the year (and stays)
it make everything fresh and new
the blanket of snow covers everything
when you look out you see
the beauty

Consider the Covering of the Holy Spirit
When Jesus told His disciples that there
would be someone to watch over them
He sent the Holy Spirit to cover them
not unlike a fresh blanket of snow.
The promise of the Holy Spirit is found in
John14:16-31
16. I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever;
17. that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.
18. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
19. After a little while the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also.
20. In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.
21. He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him."
22. Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, what then has happened that You are going to disclose Yourself to us and not to the world?"
23. Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.
24. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father's who sent Me.
25. These things I have spoken to you while abiding with you.
26. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.
27. Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.
28. You heard that I said to you, 'I go away, and I will come to you ' If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced because I go to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.
29. Now I have told you before it happens, so that when it happens, you may believe.
30. I will not speak much more with you, for the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me;
31. but so that the world may know that I love the Father, I do exactly as the Father commanded Me Get up, let us go from here.

Does your hard drive need formatting? Does it feel sluggish? Is it giving you "blue screen messages"?

Does your hard drive need formatting?
Does it feel sluggish?
Is it giving you "blue screen messages"?
Are you finding yourself thinking I need to defrag?

If you are thinking these things you have been spending
too much time in front of the computer....Kidding.

In way that is almost true for a lot of us. We get
completely busy in our day to day life we forget to
stop and "smell the roses" so to speak.
Its like your hard drive (brain) is on overload.
You keep on spinning faster and faster.
with no where to turn.
you start to feel sluggish and when someone
asks you one more thing you almost go blue screen
then you might even go into formatting mode
needing things to be refreshed

Well its time to defrag
Its time to look to the One who can give you the
strength you need to go through your day.
Look to Jesus as your guide
He will keep you and protect your hardware
so that your software (brain matter) will be strong.

1. The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread? (Psalm 27:1).

VOID

From here to there
do we try to fool
or shall we call it deceive
are we who we say we are
or do we put on a different face
out in the open one can deceive
in the outward there is no
way to see but
in your heart
an empty space
a void filling with guilt
when you deceive

That void can be filled
if you believe
One who is eternal
One who wont deceive
He will keep you pure and
that void will be gone
Filled with the Spirit, the Holy Spirit

God change my deception
I want to believe
God I give myself to you
Jesus come into my life
Forgive me, make me clean

deception now gone
void full of grace
Holy Spirit now resides
Jesus I believe

Being Busy

So this is the end of the week and we are into a weekend....oh what to do.

Do you think you will be excited to just to do nothing? Or will you be busy busy busy? I like the thought of nothing to do and not doing nothing (yes double negative). But in the end the Saturdays become busy and the Sundays busy too.

Being busy is a good thing just as long as you don't forget to keep your focus on the One who you live for. Jesus will guide you in  your day as you bustle about.

Have a Great Weekend everyone.

I wanted to go, He said stay.
I wanted to do, He said pray;
I wanted to work, He said wait,
I wanted to live for His sake!
“Love Me, child,” He softly said,
“Oh, yes, Lord,” I bowed my head;
“I want your way, I am your son,
Not my will, but Thine be done!”

FATHER;HERE IS MY LIFE

In the awesomeness of what we call life
We look to ourselves for all we want and desire
We gloat about all we have accomplished and
We think that because we are the dominant species
On this earth we think we are in control.

When things go wrong and
life just goes in a way we did not plan
We then look to someone to blame for this
We do not blame ourselves;
Remember we are the masters of our fate
We do not take the blame; we look up and say
“WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS??”

We can look to ourselves to determine
what we want or we can look to the
Father of all creation to lead us through
We can blame Him for all that has
gone wrong or we can say
"Father you have given me free will
and I chose wrong".

Will we then be able to ask for forgiveness
for my inexcusable desire to control my life and
start looking toward the Father for all our
wants and desires? I would say that we cannot
unless we give it all to the Father by saying
“Father here is my life; I give it to you
and let you have control over me. I am yours Lord.”

Lining up

We need to line up our lives with the Will of God. Keeping lined up He will guide us through what we need.
When I was crossing the Irish Channel one dark, starless night, I stood on the deck by the captain and asked him, “How do you know Holyhead Harbor on so dark a night as this?” He said, “You see those three lights? Those three must line up behind each other as one, and when we see them so united we know the exact position of the harbor’s mouth.” When we want to know God’s will there are three things which always concur: the inward impulse, the Word of God, and the trend of circumstances! God in the heart, impelling you forward; God in His book corroborating whatever He says in the heart; and God in circumstances, which are always indicative of His will. Never start until these three things agree.

Survive!!

Today we may say
that we are all alone
Today we may see
that the world is not a safe place
Today we look out the window
and we may wonder why
Today we cannot understand
the meaning of life
Today we think
we may want to just lie down
And never wake up
Today we have to take
a deep hard look at our hearts
Today we will survive

Baby today is the day
I will never be alone
My precious one today
I feel ever so safe in your arms
Gorgeous and lovely baby of mine
I see out the window
the world just stops every time
I see you and gaze into your eyes
Lover I do not need to know
the meaning of life when
I am with you and talking to you
the meaning of life is you and only you
My wonderful love
I always have a reason to wake
It is to see you and
to then want to sleep so
I can continue dreaming about you
and all the time we have
Baby I look at my heart
and since I met you
it has turned into such
a heart full of love for you
My precious,
My gorgeous,
My lovely,
My wonderful Baby
I will survive with
you in my life and in my arms….

I Love You
