FATHER HERE IS MY LIFE

In the awesomeness of what we call life
We look to ourselves for all we want and desire
We gloat about all we have accomplished and
We think that because we are the dominant species
On this earth we think we are in control.

When things go wrong and life just goes in a way we did not plan
We then look to someone to blame for this
We do not blame ourselves;
Remember we are the masters of our fate
We do not take the blame; we look up and say
“WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS??”

We can look to ourselves to determine what we want
Or we can look to the Father of all creation to lead us through
We can blame Him for all that has gone wrong or we can say
Father you have given me free will and I chose wrong.

Will we then be able to ask for forgiveness for my inexcusable desire to control my life and start looking toward the Father for all our wants and desires? I would say that we cannot unless we give it all to the Father by saying “Father here is my life, I give it to you and let you have control over me. I am yours Lord.”
