 The strength of a man isn't seen in the width of
 his shoulders.  It's seen in the width of his arms that circle you.
 
  The strength of a man isn't in the deep tone of his voice.
  It is in the gentle words he whispers.
 
  The strength of a man isn't how many buddies he has.
  It's how good a buddy he is with his or "your" children.
 
  The strength of a man isn't in how respected he is at work.
  It's in how he is respected at home.
 
  The strength of a man isn't in how hard he hits.
  It's in how tender he touches.
 
  The strength of a man isn't in the hair on his chest.
  It's in his heart...that lies within his chest.
 
  The strength of a man isn't the weight he can lift.
  It's in the burdens he can carry.
 
  The strength of a man isn't in how much food he eats from your table.
  It's in the effort he puts forth when you are unable.
 
  The strength of a man isn't in how he makes love.
  It's in the understanding that there is more to making love...than making love.
 
  The strength of a man isn't in how he thinks he's a god.
  It's in the confidence he has believing in God.

GOD IS LOVE

Failure doesn’t mean that you are a failure; it does mean you haven’t yet succeeded.

Continue to love each other with true brotherly love. Don't forget to be kind to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it! Don't forget about those in jail. Suffer with them as though you were there yourself. Share the sorrow of those being mistreated, for you know what they are going through. Hebrews 13:1-3 (The Living Bible)

Keep on trusting in Him for He know's what is best for you and He will keep you on His path if you choose to follow.
We have come to know and to believe in the love God has for us.

The Awesome power of our Creator

It was demonstrated by the Lightshow

followed by the Crack of thuder

rumbling and rattling to our very core

It makes me think of a song called

"Word Of God Speak"

I could imagine that this thunder

would not be ulike what the Audible Voice

of God would be.

Do you think It would make you shake to  your bones?

You can witness Gods Awesomeness in every day life.

Just look out your window, see the bird, trees, flower and bees

How about at night, see the millions of stars. Can you count them?

Keep looking to Jesus for your life.

He will guide you.

Dear GOD:

I thougt this was really good so I thought I would post it.

Dear GOD:
I want to thank You for what you have already done.
I am not going to wait until I see results or receive rewards;

I am thanking you right now.

I am not going to wait until I feel better or things look better;

I am thanking you right now.


I am not going to wait until people say they are sorry or until they stop talking about me;

I am thanking you right now.


I am not going to wait until the pain in my body disappears; 

I am thanking you right now.


I am not going to wait until my financial situation improves;

I am going to thank you right now.


I am not going to wait until the children are asleep and the house is quiet;

I am going to thank you right now.


I am not going to wait until I get promoted at work or until I get the job;

I am going to thank you right now.


I am not going to wait until I understand every experience in my life that has caused me pain or grief;

I am thanking you right now.


I am not going to wait until the journey gets easier or the challenges are removed;

I am thanking you right now.


I am thanking you because I am alive. I am thanking you because I made it through the day's difficulties. I am thanking you because I have walked around the obstacles...I am thanking you because I have the ability and the opportunity to do more and do better.

The Day

The day’s are long at times,

The day’s are short at times

Hands of the clock tick tock

Ever so slow

Ever so fast

Heart anticipates time spent

Heart yearns for time missed

When you are far

Eyes wide

Eyes water

Missing every moment

Is time that is gone

But yet heart grows

Pledge of Allegiance and The Lord's Prayer

Since the Pledge of Allegiance and The Lord's Prayer are not

Allowed in most public schools anymore because the word

"God" is mentioned.... A kid in Arizona wrote the attached

NEW School prayer. I liked it....

Now I sit me down in school

Where praying is against the rule

For this great nation under God

Finds mention of Him very odd.

If Scripture now the class recites,

It violates the Bill of Rights.

And anytime my head I bow

Becomes a Federal matter now.

Our hair can be purple, orange or green,

That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.

The law is specific, the law is precise.

Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.

For praying in a public hall

Might offend someone with no faith at all.

In silence alone we must meditate,

God's name is prohibited by the state.

We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,

And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks.

They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.

To quote the Good Book makes me liable.

 

We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,

And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.

It's "inappropriate" to teach right from wrong,

We're taught that such "judgments" do not belong.

We can get our condoms and birth controls,

Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.

But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,

No word of God must reach this crowd.

It's scary here I must confess,

When chaos reigns the school's a mess.

So, Lord, this silent plea I make:

Should I be shot; my soul please take!

Night stars

Oh such Beauty

Dew on the morning

Birds sing a song

The day is upon us

Hustle around

To great expectations

Sadden by the world events

Vision of Glory

The Glorious design

Give over to Love
