FLIP THIS HOUSE

I was talking to my Mom yesterday and as she read what I wrote she said it reminded her of remodeling. As I thought about that I said absolutely.

You know when you find your heart not following God the way He would like it time to consider remodeling.

When you want to renew your house you go in to the remodeling of the specific room. Such as the bathroom, you change the bathtub and toilet and sink you repaint the walls, But before you paint you look at the wall to be sure they don’t need to be fixed up, meaning do the walls need the wall board (gyprock) replaced, if it needs it you replace it to give it a renewed look.

Now when you are doing all the renovations you could do just what is needed or you could go farther by (as Mike Holmes says) go beyond code.

The same reflects our lives. We need to renovate our hearts daily in order to be clean before God.

We need to ensure that we go beyond Code in order to be effective for Him. This starts by putting on the armour of God found in Ephesians 6:10-15.

Remember that when you put on the armour and you are ready to face the day you can renew your heart and life daily, repent of the things you think are wrong.

God, Please forgive me for all the things that are not pleasing to you. Jesus, make my heart new. Take control of my life and keep me.
