When a man Loves a Woman

You know the song with the line in it that says "When a man Loves a Woman" this line is quite a statement.


Starting at the beginning, when you find the one whom you are going to share your life with the love in your heart blossoms brightly, you feel something inside that aches when you don't see each other, when you don't get to talk. You know what is said "absence makes the heart grow stronger" well it is true. When I was dating Lorie we spent a lot of time together, but the times we were apart were so long.

Our love grew and grew, my heart was full, I was in heaven, so when you see the word or hear the phrase “When a man loves a Woman” you can truly appreciate them. Guys you need to love your wives with your whole heart, not just an action that can be played like a drama. You need to feel that longing when you are apart and you need to feel that aching when you have done something wrong to hurt the lady you love.

A woman’s heart is as delicate as a rose; you need to be ever so gentle with her. Your love in your heart anticipates that meeting after a time apart.

I saw these words this morning and it prompted me to think of my wonderful wife. I love her so very much.

You know when you go on living your life in the same house as the one you are married to it is so easy to go on living and not communicating. I think a relationship built purely on the physical is not that good, but one that is built on God’s word and Love will last a lifetime.

With my love I will walk past her in the house and I will make an effort to gently touch her, Be it her arm or shoulder or other spots I care not to mention, thes e I call love touches and this is not so that I will benefit (although I do), but so that she knows that I am still in love with her, not by words, but by my gentle reminders. I know when my wife walks past me and touches me, be it the brushing or a kiss, I know she loves me. I anticipate it always.
