The Gift

How many of us like to receive a gift?
I know I do. At that moment you get the gift nothing else matters and you feel like the most important person around.
You open the gift to find the surprise in that gift.

You know there is One who wants to give you a gift. This gift is free of charge, this gift will change your life for ever.
You know that feeling you get the anticipation you have just as you open a gift?
You can have the feeling every day when you receive this gift I am talking about.

This gift is the gift of Eternal Life. In the Bible it says "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

So you see God has given us a Gift in Jesus. You accept Him and make Him Lord of your life. How do you do this you may ask.

	1.	Admit your spiritual need, "I am a sinner."
	2.	Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross to take away your sins.
	3.	Repent. In other words, be willing to turn from your sin.
	4.	Receive, through prayer, Jesus Christ into your heart and life. Pray:

Dear Lord Jesus,

I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my personal Lord and Savior.
