"I LOVE YOU"

So you want to know what happened well let me tell you that I impressed my wife. She as I led her down the hall to the bedroom where she found the petals on the bed and the Roses on the dresser with soft music playing. That was a very romantic evening and I won’t bore you with the details of it, but there is one thing I will say, it included some fine dining.

Romancing one another after 23 years of marriage is a great thing. I will tell you this when I mess up and I hurt the Love of my life it does not destroy the marriage, we work through it and we become stronger.

I have recommended a book called “The Five Love Languages” there is one for men and there is one for ladies, but there is one for couples too.

Guys there is only 2 more sleeps before Valentine’s Day how will you romance your wife?

I know it is hard, well not really, Just buying stuff is not enough, you need to spend time with your wife giving her the full attention, turn off the TV put away the paper, sit down with her and talk to her, look into her eyes and tell her how much you love her. We all did that when we were courting. That should never stop.

I am challenged by this myself. I love my Lorie more than anything and I will do everything to show it.

How often do you say to your spouse “I LOVE YOU”? I try to say it every day. It becomes almost 2nd nature to say that, but to say it with meaning and heartfelt gratitude for her it is a challenge, so the next time you say to your spouse I love you, Say it by looking into their eyes and stopping everything you are doing and tell her I Love you, let her see that you really do and that it is not just words.
